Bird cages are made by Ridha,
in Africa's Northernmost Cape city of Ras Jbel. Third generation hand crafting
the most exotic bird cages in the country. A combination of pine wood and metal
wire shaped in a dome as the upper part of the cage. Concept influenced by the
heavy Spanish presence in the region in the XII th. and XIII th. century.

Olivewood carvings, are hand crafted in the
region of Sfax, by Bilel. Father of
three, and very skilled Artist, 4th generation carving olive wood. Mortars and
pestles, kitchenware, chess sets, and decorative home decor products are the
specialty.
Mediterranean Olive wood products are Unique
not only in design, but also in shape and in beauty. Very solid, and durable.
The scrolling edges show off the richness of the olivewood grain. The surface
has a fine finish that's silky smooth to the touch. The veins are a very deep
black, brown and cream! Swirling thru the wood like a waterfall coming over the
top of the product! No two items are identically alike, and product may contain
minor cracks natural to the olive wood knots.
Maintenance to the products takes place by rinsing the surface with olive oil.
Olivewood products are not dishwasher safe.

Leather work has its
influence from the Turkish presence in Tunisia XVI th. century. Today, hand
crafted leatherwork is heavily present in the local souks and interior decor
projects in Tunisia.
